The Resort of Suomu, Lapland Finland

Sitting deep in the Lappish Fells, right on the Arctic Circle lies the highly uncommercialised resort of Suomu. Perhaps the hidden gem of all Lapland resorts, Suomu is the magical setting for our 2 day Delectable tour. It is also one of the bases for our Winter Wonderland program. If you’re looking for challenging activities off the beaten track or simply a relaxing break surrounded by the serenity of Lapland; there can be no better resort than Suomu.

Suomu Log Cabins

Stay in a cosy traditional log cabin amidst the serenity of Suomu. Our accommodation has been built to the highest Finnish specification and all are centrally heated. Each cabin is open-plan in style & is well-equipped with kitchenette, sauna/shower room, drying cupboard and a log fire (where available). Cabins are individually furnished & may be different from the pictures shown. Each of the cabins provides a very comfortable sleeping area suitable for parties up to 4, 6 or 8 persons. Cabins are located between 5 & 25 mins walk from the centre of resort. Naturally we provide you with thermal snow suits & boots to keep you warm against the elements. Breakfast and dinner are taken in resort at the Arctic Circle Hotel Restaurant.

Arctic Circle Hotel

This is a small yet stylish hotel with quality modern furnishings and stylish décor. The Three Seasons Restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere for you to dine in, plus there is a bar where you can unwind after the days’ activities. There is also a sauna available for the use of hotel guests. For the Delectable Tour, meals are served buffet style with options such as chicken nuggets, burgers etc. available for children.

Hotel Rooms

The guest rooms at the hotel are well equipped with power shower, wc and telephone. Some of the rooms also offer a Jacuzzi bath. Rooms can accommodate up to 4 people, with twin beds & a double sofa bed.
