The beautiful unspoilt resort of Luosto was discovered by the family behind Canterbury Travel, more than 29 years ago.
This magical resort remains as pretty and unspoilt as it was back in those early days but over the last 28 years, we here at Canterbury Travel have developed our tours to include reindeer, husky and snowmobile safaris as well as exciting encounters with our character elves, Mrs Claus and even the possibility of driving your own snowmobile!

At Canterbury Travel we believe that whether you purchase a one day trip or a tour of three or four nights, it is important to enjoy the best standards of service and tour content possible, and whilst content varies between itineraries, we try to enhance our product with presents for the children, special souvenir licenses, interaction with our character elves, as well as souvenir cd's and dvd's to name but a few.
Day trips are full of activity rather than visiting shopping centres but to some degree are rushed due to time constraints while longer tours provide for a more relaxed atmosphere and an enhanced activity programme in truly wilderness locations and the romance of Searching for Santa.
All our holiday arrangements are inclusive not only of flights, accommodation, transfers and meals as per itinerary, but outdoor activities as specified using huskies, reindeer and snowmobiles. In addition we include the loan of thermal snowsuits and boots as well as gifts for the children aged 2 – 11 years inclusive.
Our experienced personnel will be available to assist you throughout your stay in Lapland and all speak very good English. When you visit Santa, he will fully understand your children and you will have no doubt that you have met the real Father Christmas.
